Are you amongst those who look at yourself in the mirror and vow that you will start dieting or exercising soon such that you can lose weight fast? Or are you amongst those who look at someone slimmer or healthier than you, and yearn to have a body like him or her? I think many of us fall into this category.
But wishes are only desires. What is really important is if you are really REALLY willing to lose weight?
Now you may be wondering what kind of a question is this!!! Of course, you want to lose weight. So let me rephrase the question for you.
Are you REALLY ready to lose weight? Ready for the commitment and the dedication that is involved in losing weight. Or are you REALLY ready to adopt the lifestyle changes that a successful weight loss plan requires you to make?

1. Have you searched for various Weight Loss Solutions on Google or YouTube?
These days, Google or YouTube search is really the very first step for anyone who wants to search for anything. Whether it is to buy something or gain knowledge about something, search on google or YouTube is a default step. So if you are really keen to lose weight, the very first sign is that you must have searched for it on google or YouTube. Your search terms may include questions like “How to Lose Weight Fast?” or “How to Reduce Belly Fat?” or “How can I lose weight?” or similar such questions. But this is really just the first sign.
2. Are you following (or have liked) a Facebook Page of Fit Celebrity or Weight Loss Expert?
There are many celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan or Shilpa Shetty who are known fitness freaks. You have followed these celebrities not because of their beautiful pictures, but because they share their diet plans or exercise routines on their Facebook page.

Another sign to show that you are ready to lose weight is if you are a member of a group on Facebook or community on Reddit or any other social media. These should focus on weight loss or healthy lifestyle or fitness or even weight loss/ diet food.
The groups/ communities act as a great support system for anyone who is willing to lose weight. Active members of these groups share their daily routine, food plans, successes, failures, and experiences. These members are so inspiring that even the dormant members get the motivation to start work on themselves.
If you are a member of any of these groups and also actively participate in these groups, then you are surely ready to lose weight yourself.

There are many bloggers out there who dispense with a lot of information on ‘Effective Methods to Lose Weight’ for FREE. 5) You have actually tried some of the Strategies to Lose Weight
You may not have succeeded in your attempts, but you tried. Either by starting to exercise or diet or take weight loss pills or use any other tool in order to tackle your weight issues. If you have taken that extra one step towards weight loss, then you are sincerely ready. Statistics reveal that out of 100 people who want to lose weight only about 10-12% really make an effort to do something about it, the remaining just desire or wish. They just want to sit and crib about their weight and really do nothing about it.
There are many people who have seen my weight loss transformation and asked me for my advice to lose weight, the first thing I tell them is to subscribe to my blog. It is not that I cannot tell them what to do, all I want to see is if they are ready enough. Also, in my blog articles, I have explained step-wise what you need to do to lose weight. And believe me when I say out of the 100 people who ask me about a weight loss solution, only 10-12 actually subscribe to my blog.

If you have answered yes to any or all the question above, then you are ready to lose weight and move to the next step of putting all your thoughts into actions. Start with taking small steps and making small changes in your lifestyle, and slowly move towards a healthier lifestyle. Work towards it till it becomes your habit.
There are many people who are so desperate to lose weight ‘fast’ that they either get into rigorous exercising or starving themselves or even take extreme measures like weight loss supplement or surgeries. While they do get some success in the short run, they fail in the long run. This is because they do not really know the right way to lose weight.
Do your research well and opt for the weight loss plan that is right for you – a way that suits your lifestyle and eating habits. Or maybe a Weight Loss Coach who can show you the right way to do it.

Thank you, Tushar. An ideal weight depends on a lot of things, only age is not the criteria.
You may look at any weight calculators by searching on google.
